Joy's birthday fundraiser for Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region
Fundraiser for Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region by Joy Harris ·

If you are able (I know times are tight!), for my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
Interpersonal violence and violence against women are now considered health crises due to the high rates at which they are occurring, and the growing number of femicides.
Since my birthday comes at the end of the month of March - International Women’s month, this organization’s local government funding has decreased, and the cause has personal meaning to me as someone who has been in abusive relationships, WCSWR seems a fitting and deserving organization to help!
Any amount makes a difference, and you will get a tax receipt! I also encourage people to check out WCSWR’s podcast “She Is Your Neighbour”, found on most podcast services.
