Eligibility for Facebook's fundraising tools depends on which country/region your organisation is based in.
Facebook can deny any organisation access to fundraising tools. Learn more about why an organisation might be denied access to fundraising tools.
Accessing the application for Facebook's fundraising tools
To access the application, make sure that you are a Page admin for your charity's Page, and your charity's Page meets the following requirements:
  • The address of the organisation is included in the About section of the Facebook Page, with the map set to public visibility.
  • The Page's category is "Charitable organisation" or "Charitable organisation" as the first option.
  • Page is published (and at least two days old).
  • Page has at least one post.
  • Has both a cover photo and a profile picture.
  • Follows our Community Standards.
About the different ways to access tools
Note: The application type that's available to you will depend on the country and region your charity is registered in.
There are three ways your organisation can get access to Facebook's fundraising tools. How you choose to access the tools determines:
  • How donations will be paid out to your charity.
  • How often you'll be paid out.
  • Which tools you can use.

Access types and requirements
Apply and include banking info
When you apply to use the fundraising tools, you can choose to include your organisation's banking information. If you're approved, then your organisation will be paid out through Meta Pay. Your organisation will be able to use all of the fundraising tools.
To be eligible:
  • Be registered with an acceptable charity registry in your country. Find a registry.
  • Be in a country or region where donation payouts through Meta Pay are available:
    • Austria
    • Belgium
    • Finland
    • France
    • Germany
    • Ireland
    • Italy
    • Luxembourg
    • Netherlands
    • Norway
    • Poland
    • Portugal
    • Sweden
    • Spain
Don't apply
If you're a charity that's registered with your country's charity registry, you may be pulled into the Facebook Fundraising Hub automatically. You'll be paid out through Network for Good's Donor Advised Fund. Funds are sent by electronic transfer if your charity is registered with Network for Good or a cheque is posted to the address on file. You'll have access to some of the tools.
