Your activity log shows your Facebook activity in chronological order. Your activity includes things such as content you've added to Facebook (e.g. posts you created and things you've liked), actions you've taken on Facebook (e.g. adding or removing friends) and other information about you on Facebook. To find something specific, use the filters to narrow down your search.
Use activity log to find something specific
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Select Settings and privacy, then click Activity log.
  3. Click Activity history on the left.
From here, you can review content by:
  • Date:
    1. Click Date.
    2. Click the drop-down menu under Year and select the year you'd like to review. You can then filter by month.
    3. Click Save changes.
  • Activity type:
    1. Click the category under Activity type that you'd like to review. These include:
      • Your activity across Facebook to review things such as posts you've created, likes and other interactions.
      • Personal information to review information that you provided when you set up your Facebook account.
      • Connections to review how you've connected with people on Facebook.
      • Security and login information to review technical information and logged activity related to your account.
      • Apps and websites off Facebook to review posts from apps and websites.
      • Preferences to review actions that you've taken to customise your Facebook experience.
      • Logged information to review things such as your location and search history.
    2. Then click a category to review (e.g. Below Posts, you can click Videos you've watched).
Note: Only you can see your activity log, but the posts and other content in your activity log may appear in other places on Facebook, such as on your timeline, in search or in your friends' Feeds.
