Badges show people who you are or what you've accomplished in a group. If you have a badge and allow it to be displayed, it will appear on your group posts, comments and profile for the group.
Here are some of the badges you can get in groups:

Manage which badges appear next to your name
- Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
- Click your profile photo to the left of "Write something..." to go to your member profile.
- On your member profile, click Edit profile.
- Scroll down to Group badges and click Edit.
- Choose which badges you'd like to appear on your group posts and comments and then click Done.
Add your expertise if an admin made you a group expert
- Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
- Click your profile photo to the left of "Write something..." to go to your member profile.
- On your member profile, click Edit profile.
- Click Add Expertise below Expertise.
- To add your topic of expertise: Below Select your topic of expertise, click Add topic, then search for your topic of expertise and select it. Click Add to group expert badge if you'd like your expertise to appear with your expert badge.
- To add additional credentials: Click Add experience and follow the prompts.
- To allow admins of other groups to discover your expertise: Click Want to be invited to other groups as an expert?
- Click Save.
To remove yourself as a group expert, go to the member list and scroll down to Group experts, then select your name and select Remove as group expert.
Note- Group admins can choose to turn badges on or off in their group.
- Badges might not be visible to people who aren't members of the group.
- If you allow your badge to be displayed, it will appear on your group posts, comments and profile but not in Feed.
- In public groups, only members can get badges.
