Create an in-person Facebook event

Once you've created an event, you can't change the privacy settings. Example: You can't change a private event to a public event.
Create an in-person event
  1. From your Feed, click eventsEvents in the left menu. You may have to click See more first.
  2. Click + Create new event, then click In person.
  3. Add the event details on the left-hand side.
  4. Click Privacy. Select who can see and join your event, then click Next. Remember, you can't change this setting after you've created the event.
  5. Follow the prompts to enter information about your event, such as location, description, cover photo and more.
  6. Click Create event.
