Add or change the cover photo for a Facebook group that you manage

Only admins can upload or change cover photos for their group.
To upload or reposition a cover photo:
  1. Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
  2. Click Edit in the bottom right-hand corner of the cover photo and select where you'd like to choose an image from or select Reposition.
  3. Select the image, drag to reposition and click Save Changes.
Bear in mind that the recommended size for group cover photos is 1,640 px by 856 px (or 1.91:1 ratio). The diagram below illustrates the dimensions of the cover photo. We recommend not placing important information in the grey areas, as group visitors may not see the entire image on a mobile device.
