Update your profile information after your Facebook profile has been verified

This article is about Meta Verified for Facebook profiles.
Once you've successfully completed the verification process for your profile, you can update your profile name or picture once every three days. When you change your profile name or picture after you've been verified, you'll need to go through the verification process again.

Update your profile name
To update your profile name after your Facebook profile has been verified:
  1. Log in to your verified Facebook account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Click Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
  4. On the left-hand side, click Accounts Centre and then click Meta Verified.
  5. Click your verified profile, then click Manage subscription.
  6. Below Edit name or photo, click Name.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Update your profile picture
To update your profile picture after your Facebook profile has been verified:
  1. Log in to your verified Facebook account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Click Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
  4. On the left-hand side, click Accounts Centre and then click Meta Verified.
  5. Click your verified profile, then click Manage subscription.
  6. Below Edit name or photo, click Profile picture.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.

After you've submitted your profile updates, you'll go through the verification process again. These updates will need to be reviewed and approved before they are displayed on your profile.
If you already have an existing verified badge based on prior requirements, you can still sign up for Meta Verified.
