Troubleshoot problems with creating a Facebook Page
Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience. You'll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.
If you're having trouble with creating a Page:
- Please make sure that the name of your Page follows our guidelines.
- Bear in mind that only official representatives can create a Page for an organisation, business, brand or public figure.
- If you aren't an official representative and want to create a space for fans of a certain topic or celebrity, you can create a Facebook group.
- If you already have a Page, you can change your Page's name or username.
