Reels on Facebook are short-form videos up to 90 seconds long. You can share your reels publicly or with your friends on Facebook. You can upload a video on your computer as a reel.
To upload a video as a reel:
  1. From your Feed, click See more on the left.
  2. Click Video, then click Reels to begin playing a reel.
  3. Click Create reel.
  4. Click Add video, then select a video on your computer. Tap Next.
  5. If you'd like to trim your video, click Trim video, then click and drag to set your beginning and end points. Click to confirm your trim.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Describe your reel… to add a description or any hashtags. Hashtags help other people find your reel when searching. Descriptions are optional.
  8. Select the audience for your reel by clicking on your currently selected audience. Click the audience that you'd like to use, then click Done. Bear in mind that if your profile is locked, you can't select a public audience. Audience options may include:
    • Public: Anyone, including people off Facebook, can see your reel.
    • Friends: Only your friends can see your reel.
    • Friends except.: Your friends, except for the friends you choose, can see your reel.
  9. Toggle to enable or disable remixing.
  10. Once you've selected your options, click Publish to share your reel.
To create a reel with effects or music, or to use multiple clips in a single reel, use the Facebook app for iPhone and Android.
