If you're having problems with playing videos (including reels) on Facebook, then try some of the tips below.
Check your Internet connection:
  • If you're using Wi-Fi, then try reconnecting to your network or connecting to a different network.
  • If your Internet connection is slow, then try restarting your router or modem (Internet connection device).
Update your browser:
  • We recommend using the most up-to-date version of one of the following browsers so that you have the best possible experience using Facebook: Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge.
  • If your computer is running Windows 7 (2009-2012) or an earlier version of Windows, then your issue may be fixed by using a different browser.
Restart your computer:
  • Close your Internet browser and restart your computer.
