The people you follow can see that you're following them. To change who else can see the people, Pages and lists you're following:
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click Friends.
  3. Next to Find friends, click then select Edit privacy.
  4. In the Following section, select an audience.
Bear in mind that when you follow someone, a story about it may appear in your friends' News Feed. People you're subscribed to may receive a notification that you're following them, depending on their notification settings. They'll also see your name on their list of followers and may choose to make that list visible on their profile. If you choose to unfollow a friend, they won't get a notification that you've unfollowed them.
