How do charities receive donations?
We partner exclusively with PayPal Giving Fund to benefit charities in the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. PayPal Giving Fund receives donations and grants donated funds to benefiting charities, based on their policies and terms in eligible countries.

How do taxes work?
Donations to non-profits may be eligible for tax benefits or deductions, depending on local law and the location of the donor and non-profit.
If you have questions relating to taxes, please contact a tax professional.

Are there fees?
Meta no longer covers donation payment processing fees in the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. All donations in those countries will now incur a payment processing fee from a third-party payment processing partner. Donors will have the option to increase their donations to cover fees.

Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. To donate privately, select "Only me" from the privacy menu in the donation form.
Please note that fundraiser creators and the PayPal Giving Fund can see all donations. Only they can see donation amounts.

Let me share a story of Mr. Hanif (Pseudo name):
Mr. Hanif, a 70 years old man paddles the rickshaw every day from morning to evening, and returns home after buying some rice and lentil with his income. He maintained his fasting although he was hungry and thirsty in the intense heat of summer. But it is very difficult for him to do this hard work while fasting in Ramadan.
When he is asked if he is fasting, the old man said in a somewhat excited voice, "How could you ask this question? No matter how hard my work is, I never broke my fast and will not break it. If I fill up my stomach rather than keeping fasting, what will I answer when I go to the grave?”
WOW! This is the spirit of Ramadan.
Millions of people do not have enough meals to get suhur or iftar. And millions of people perform physically tiring work e.g., pulling rickshaw, day labor, construction work etc. to bring the food on the table for their families. Many of them fast like Mr. Hanif but others cannot fast due to the physical tiring job. Ramadan is a month to learn the feeling of hunger.
How can we fulfill this lesson if we do not share anything to those people like Mr. Hanif?
A basket of food includes basic food for a family for WHOLE MONTH.
Rice = 20 kg
Flour = 3Kg
Lentils = 2Kg
Potato = 5 Kg
Onion = 3kg
Cooking Oil = 2Kg
Salt = 2 Kg
Puffed rice = 1 Kg
Soap = 2
Accomplishment
With all of your generosity, we were able to provide ONE million meals to 7,000 families in the last three years during Ramadan, facilitating them to observe fasting and bringing relief and security to them. See more
