Manage top fan and rising fan badges for your Facebook profile

Top fan and rising fan badges are only available for:
  • Profiles with at least 10,000 followers
  • Profiles with professional mode and at least 100 followers
People can become eligible for a top fan or rising fan badge on your Facebook profile, including a professional mode profile, by being one of your most active followers. This can include liking or reacting to content, and commenting on or sharing posts.
People who qualify for and then accept top fan or rising fan badges will have a badge next to their name when they comment with your profile's content. If someone is your friend on Facebook, that person can't become a top fan or rising fan of your profile.
Turn top fan or rising fan badges on or off
Top fan and rising fan badges for your profile are turned off by default. To turn them on or off for your profile:
For a personal profile:
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click more below your profile name.
  3. Select Manage fan badges.
  4. Click to turn this setting on or off.
For a profile using professional mode:
  1. Click menu at the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click Professional dashboard, then select Fan engagement tools.
  3. Toggle Top fan and/or Rising fan to turn the badges on or off.
Remove a badge from a top fan or rising fan
You can only remove a badge with the Facebook app for Android, iPhone or iPad.
  1. From the Facebook app, tap menu.
  2. Go to the post on your profile that has a comment from the top fan or rising fan that you want to remove.
  3. Next to their name, tap the top fan or rising fan badge.
  4. Tap Remove top fan badge or Remove rising fan badge.
View a list of your profile's top fan and rising fans and select which badges you want to remove
  1. From the Facebook app, tap menu.
  2. Go to a comment from a top fan or rising fan and tap the badge next to their name.
  3. Select See all top fans or See all rising fans.
  4. Go to the profile whose badge you want to remove, then tap more.
  5. Tap Remove top fan badge or Remove rising fan badge.
