Manage top fan and rising fan badges for your Facebook Page

Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience. You'll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.
Top commenter badges are no longer available.
People can become eligible for a rising fan badge or top fan badge on your Page by being one of the most active engagers. Activities that may qualify someone for a badge can include liking, sharing, reacting to and commenting on Page posts and updates.
When people qualify for a rising fan or top fan badge and then accept it, a badge appears next to their name when they comment on your Page's updates.
You can manage rising fans and top fans if you have Facebook access to a new Page.
Rising fan or top fan badges may not be available for all Page types, such as Pages that represent pharmaceutical companies, political affiliations or government agencies.
Turn rising fan or top fan badges on or off for your Page
  1. Log in to Facebook from a computer, then click your profile photo in the top right.
  2. Click See all profiles, then select the Page that you want to switch into.
  3. Click Professional dashboard in the left menu. You may need to click See more first.
  4. Click Fan engagement in the left menu below Your tools.
  5. Toggle Top fan and/or Rising fan to turn the badges on or off.
Remove a badge from a top fan or rising fan
You can only remove a badge from a top fan or rising fan with the Facebook app for Android, iPhone or iPad.
  1. From the Facebook app, tap menu or your profile photo.
  2. Select the Page you want to use.
  3. Go to your Page, then go to a comment from the top fan or rising fan whose badge you want to remove.
  4. Tap the top fan or rising fan badge next to the profile name.
  5. Tap Remove top fan badge or Remove rising fan badge.
You can also tap on a badge and then tap See all top fans or See all rising fans to view a list of profiles with your Page's badges. From here, tap more next to a profile and tap Remove top fan badge or Remove rising fan badge.
