Analyse results
While Facebook shows all the results related to your campaigns in Ads Manager, some data will be more relevant to your campaigns than others. You can customise the way your results appear to show the metrics that matter most to you.
USE REPORTS TO UNDERSTAND RESULTS
- Compare metrics from past campaigns to new campaigns is an important way to understand whether you're getting better results than previous campaigns.
- Review actions that happen as a result of your ad, including conversions, leads, mobile app installs, purchases and offline conversions. We attribute these actions to your ad if someone viewed or clicked on your ad within a certain period of time, as defined by your attribution window.
- View results by platform, device and placement in Ads Manager. If you've selected every available ad placement during setup, you can view breakdowns of your ad's reporting metrics in Ads Manager by platform, platform and device, placement, and placement and device.
- Use cross-device reporting to see which devices people saw your ads on before converting on your app or website. For example, if you see an ad for a product on your mobile phone but decide to buy it later on your desktop computer, this conversion could be captured in a cross-device report.
