Remove yourself from a business portfolio

The Meta business account, sometimes called a Business Manager account, is being renamed to business portfolio. This change will appear gradually across Meta technologies.

You can remove yourself from a business portfolio. Once you're removed, you'll no longer have access to the business portfolio, including any of its Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts or other business assets.

Remove yourself from a business account

To remove yourself from a business portfolio in:

Business Manager

  1. Go to Business settings.
  2. Go to Business info.
  3. Scroll to the bottom. Below My info, click Leave [business name].

Meta Business Suite

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. From the People tab, select your name.
  3. Click the three horizontal dots icon. Select Remove from business portfolio.
  4. Click Remove.
