About business asset groups in Business Manager

A business asset group is a collection of assets (for example, Pages, ad accounts and Instagram accounts) within Meta Business Manager. People with full control of the business portfolio can create business asset groups to organise assets and the people who have access to them. Once you've created a business asset group, you can grant access to individual people or share it with a partner business.
You can organise your business assets to suit your needs. For example:
- If your business has multiple brands or lines of business, you can create a group of assets for each brand or line.
- If you're an agency or a service provider with multiple clients, you can create a group of assets for each client.
- If your business operates in more than one region, you can create a group of assets for each region.
You can add assets that you own and assets that others have shared with you. You can add the following asset types to a business asset group:
- Ad accounts
- Pages
- Instagram accounts
- Pixels
- Offline events
- Apps*
- Catalogues*
- Custom conversions*
*You can add these assets to a business asset group, but you can't grant permissions at the business asset group level. You'll need to assign permissions to these assets individually.
Note: If you use the Business Manager API, you can edit and manage business asset groups in the API. But you'll need to create business asset groups in Business Manager. Learn more about business asset management in the Business Manager API.
