About prepaid funds
When you create your first Meta ad, you can create an ad account that's set up for prepaid funds (such as PayTM, Boleto Bancário or Alipay). You'll have a prepaid balance on your ad account and can manually add funds to the prepaid balance before your ads run. As your ads run, we'll deduct from the funds you've added.
If you have multiple payment methods saved to your ad account, you can set a default payment method. We'll charge your default payment method first when you add funds to the prepaid balance. With prepaid funds, you don't have a payment threshold. Instead, as your ads run, we deduct from the funds that you've added up to once a day to pay for your ads. Make sure that you add enough funds so that your ads won't stop before you want them to.
Our billable day is on a 24-hour period instead of a calendar day basis. Facebook ads start running once the ads have been approved on your chosen start date. They'll stop running at 23:59 on your chosen end date.
For example, say that you're an advertiser in Brazil paying in Brazilian real. You click Promote on your Page to start creating your first ad. First, you enter your account information and set your account country and currency. When you confirm your ads purchase, you select Boleto Bancário, a prepaid funds method that matches the account country and currency you want to use. After entering your business details and payment amounts, you click Make payment and follow the instructions to add funds to your prepaid funds balance. Your ad account is now set up for prepaid funds and your prepaid balance is updated.
Bear in mind that the payment methods available to you vary depending on the country and currency of your ad account and its payment setting.
