About Meta Business Manager Security Centre

The Meta business account, sometimes called a Business Manager account, is being renamed to business portfolio. This change will appear gradually across Meta technologies.

Security Centre in Meta Business Manager is where you can access settings to help safeguard your business and the people who manage it.

You can access Security Centre from the business settings to see all available features or see alerts in Business Home. Security notices that require your attention appear at the top of your Business Manager home page. Once you address all of your alerts, this card disappears. The card reappears if we need to notify you of any new security risks.

In Security Centre, you can:

  • Require two-factor authentication: While two-factor authentication is a requirement in Business Manager for business portfolios that are 90 days or older, we recommend making it a requirement for everyone with access to a business portfolio. When two-factor authentication is on, people will be required to enter a special login code each time they try to access your business portfolio from a new computer or phone. This can help safeguard your business portfolio from unauthorised access. Learn more about two-factor authentication.
  • Add another person with full control of your business portfolio: It's helpful to have more than one person with full control of your business portfolio. If one leaves, someone else can maintain administrative duties and keep your business running smoothly.
  • Check business verification status: See your business verification status and your business info. Learn more about business verification and who it's for.
