About Facebook Stars
Facebook Stars is a feature that allows followers to show their appreciation for you as a creator. Viewers can buy Stars and send them to you to appreciate your gaming, live, on-demand, photo or text content.
Facebook Stars may be automatically turned on for your eligible public reels, photos and text posts. If Stars are not automatically turned on, you can apply to collect Stars on your content.
In order to earn money from the Stars you receive, you must meet the programme eligibility criteria, comply with Partner Monetisation and Content Monetisation Policies, agree to and remain compliant with the Stars Streamer Terms, and complete the payment enrolment process. If you are onboarded to Stars monetisation, Meta will pay you USD 0.01 for every Star that you receive.
Creators can enable or disable Stars at any time on eligible content by clicking on the three-dot menu available on their reel or post.
Creator perks
Creators can unlock perks when they receive Stars. Use the Creator Perks tool within the professional dashboard to complete milestones to earn perks such as virtual trophies for their accomplishments.
You can also use the Creator Perks tool to learn more about actions that you can take to get access to monetisation tools and track your progress towards monetisation eligibility.
Stars availability
Stars are currently available for Facebook non-gaming and gaming partners.

Facebook Stars is a feature that allows you to monetise your stream. Viewers can buy Stars and send them to you while you're streaming. Fans can also send animated, virtual gifts attached to different Star amounts that will appear in your stream. For every Star that you receive, we will pay you USD 0.01.
You will be alerted in chat when a viewer sends you Stars. You can track your total Star count in Meta Business Suite.
In some cases, viewers will not be able to send you Stars. The following countries do not support the ability to send Stars:

- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Russia
- South Korea
- Syria
