What forms of ID are acceptable when signing in to my exam?

ID must be government-issued and include your photo and your signature.

Examples of acceptable identification:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence
  • Military ID (including spouse and dependents)
  • National or local identification card
  • Green card, permanent resident card, visa or other registration card

Please be prepared to show one acceptable form of ID to the proctor on the day of your exam.

The name on your ID must match the name on your CertMetrics profile. Your name must be spelt the same in both places. If the names don't match, you won't be permitted to take the exam and will forfeit the full exam fee.

To update your name on your CertMetrics profile, contact the support team at least 48 business hours prior to your scheduled exam.
