Share block lists in Business Manager

The Meta business account, sometimes called a Business Manager account, is being renamed to business portfolio. This change will appear gradually across Meta technologies.

To share a block list with someone, you can add them to your business portfolio. However, you might not want to give someone outside your business that level of access. For example, if your agency works on your block list for you.

Before you begin

  • Only people with full control of the business portfolio can give people access to a block list.
  • Decide to share with a person or their whole business.
  • Decide if you want to let the business or the person Apply block list, which lets admins apply the block list.
  • Decide if you want to let the business or the person Manage block list, which lets admins apply and edit the block list.

Give another business or person access

To share your block list:

  1. Open Business settings.
  2. Select Block lists, under Brand safety in the left column.
  3. Select your block list.
  4. Add a person or a business.
    • For a person, select Add people in the top right. Choose the person's name in the list or find them using the Search and filter text box. Allow them to Apply block list or Manage block list. Select Assign and then Done.
    • For a business, select Assign partners in the top right. In the pop-up, enter a Partner Business ID and allow them to Apply block list or Manage block list. Select Next when you're ready, and then Done.

You'll return to Business settings and see the person or business in the list of partners.

If the person that you want to have access has full control of the business portfolio, they can now work on your block list for you. If not, someone with full control of the business portfolio must give them permission to apply or manage the block list.
