Import and manage items in your catalogue from a partner platform
If you host your products on a partner platform that has an integration with Meta, you can import them to your catalogue in Commerce Manager. You can then continue managing your products on your partner platform and your updates will sync automatically to Commerce Manager on a regular basis.
Once your catalogue contains some products, you can use it to start selling from a Facebook or Instagram shop using Commerce Manager or to create ads featuring your products in Meta Ads Manager.
Import items to Commerce Manager from a partner platform
You can import products to your catalogue in Commerce Manager from many partner platforms, including:
Follow the steps on your partner website to connect your account. If your partner platform isn't listed here, check their Help Centre or contact them to find out if they have a Meta integration.
Manage your catalogue in Commerce Manager from a partner platform
Once an integration with your partner platform has been set up, you can see the latest syncs from your partner platform in Commerce Manager under Catalogue > Data sources. You can also view your products in the Items tab.
When you want to update any product information in Commerce Manager, you'll need to go to your partner platform and edit products there. Your updated product information will then automatically sync to your catalogue in Commerce Manager. We recommend that you don't edit products manually in Commerce Manager because any manual changes that you make will be overwritten every time that we receive a fresh sync from your partner platform.
Similarly, if you see any errors in your catalogue that ask you to edit your product information, you'll need to edit products on your partner platform to fix the issues and your changes will sync to Commerce Manager. However, if products are rejected for policy violations, you can request a review directly in Commerce Manager.
