This section will test your ability to:

Q: How do I get recertified?
A: You have two options for recertification:

Option 1: Complete online courses and assessment (refresh).

If you choose this option, please note the following:

  • The refresh option is available prior to the certification expiry date only.
  • The online courses are self-paced and should take approximately two hours to complete.
  • Both the courses and assessment are unproctored and only available online.
  • The assessment is pass or fail.
  • You may retake the assessment after a 24-hour period. Retakes are unlimited, as long as your certification hasn't lapsed.

To start your refresh, go to CertMetrics and click Schedule an exam. Next to Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, click Refresh.

Option 2: Retake the exam.

If you choose this option, please note the following:

  • The exam has 60 questions and is 105 minutes long.
  • The passing score is 700 out of 1,000.
  • There is a five-day waiting period to retake the exam if you don't pass.

To retake the exam, go to CertMetrics and click Schedule an exam. Next to Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, click Schedule my exam.

Once you've met the requirements for recertification, you'll receive an email confirming your recertification and your new certification expiry date.
