Your new and existing customers may use other apps besides WhatsApp, so it's important to meet them where they are. WhatsApp Business enables you to expand your reach when you connect your business account with your Facebook Page and Instagram profile.
When you link and sync your WhatsApp Business account to your other Meta accounts, your information will be updated automatically, which helps you connect with your customers whether they're on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
Wind & Wool
Wind & Wool is a boutique clothing shop focused on local designers and sustainable brands. Adelina, the owner, communicates with customers primarily through WhatsApp Business, but she also has a Facebook Page.
Adelina wants to expand her reach, but spends the majority of her time managing updates and customer messages across her Page and her WhatsApp Business account. To reach more people efficiently, Adelina can connect her accounts to provide updates and respond to people's messages more efficiently.

Linking and syncing accounts
Link and sync your Facebook Page and Instagram business account to your WhatsApp Business account. Once you've linked your accounts, you can sync information between your business profiles, add a WhatsApp action button to your Page and create ads that click to WhatsApp.
When you sync information from your Page to your WhatsApp Business account, your WhatsApp Business profile will automatically be updated and any changes that you make to your Page will appear on your WhatsApp Business account. Changes made in WhatsApp Business will not be reflected on your Page.
Link your Facebook Page.
- Navigate to your Facebook Page.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Select WhatsApp.
- Enter the WhatsApp Business number and tap Send code to WhatsApp.
- Enter the code sent to your WhatsApp Business account and tap Check WhatsApp.
- You'll receive confirmation that your account has been connected.
- Tap Done.
Sync your accounts.
- Navigate to your Facebook Page.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap WhatsApp.
- Tap Sync info.
- Tap Continue.
- Review the information that you provided, then tap Complete sync.
- You'll receive confirmation that your account has been synced.
- Tap Done.
Link your Instagram.
- Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
- Under Public business information, tap Contact options.
- Select WhatsApp business phone number.
- Select the WhatsApp number that you want to connect to or add a new number. You can also create a new WhatsApp account at this step.
- Tap Send confirmation code. You'll then be prompted to verify your WhatsApp account.
Once you've confirmed your WhatsApp number, WhatsApp will be added to your contact options. Your WhatsApp number should display as a contact option on your Instagram profile.
