Create a collection for your shop in Commerce Manager

In Commerce Manager, you can create and feature collections of your products to help customers find the products that are right for them when they visit your shop. Each collection will have a name, an optional description and cover media, and can include two or more products.

You'll need to set up a shop before creating a collection.

To create a collection:

1. Go to Commerce Manager and select your shop.
2. Click Edit.
3. Click + Add new.
4. Click Collection.
5. Click Create new collection and click Confirm.
6. Give your collection a name and select the products you'd like to include. You can click to select a variant, such as a specific colour or size. Click Confirm.
   • Note: Products will appear dynamically for each customer, rather than in the order you add them.
7. In the Featured collection section, add these details:
   • Image (optional). We recommend that you include at least one of the products in your collection at a 4:3 ratio with a minimum pixel size of 800 x 600. You can use a variety of image formats.
   • Title. You can have up to 30 characters, including emojis, for your collection name.
   • Text. Add your title and subtitle (optional). You can have up to 30 characters, including emojis, for your title.
8. When you've finished, click Publish.

Sellers who use Instagram checkout can add collections from the Instagram app. Note that you still need to create the collection in Commerce Manager. To add a collection in your Instagram profile shop:

1. Go to your Instagram profile.
2. Tap Edit shop.
3. Tap Collections. Then tap Add. Note that collections in Instagram automatically appear at the top of your shop.
4. Tap the collections that you'd like to publish to your Instagram profile shop, then tap Done.

You can unpublish a collection from your profile shop by going to Edit shop > Collections and selecting the collections that you want to hide. You can re-publish a collection at any time.

Note: After you've created a new collection in your shop, your shop will be reviewed to ensure that the products and information comply with our commerce policies before customers can see them. Reviews are usually completed within 24 hours.
