  3. For your source, choose the custom audience with a value column you created.
  4. Choose the country where you'd like to find a similar set of people.
  5. Choose your desired audience size with the slider.

Additional information

Maximum source audience size

Not on the Facebook side. The more users and values that you share with us, the better we're able to optimise.

However, if you upload a list that's very large, your browser could run out of time or memory before the upload is complete. Two factors determine the size of your file:

  • The number of people.
  • The number of data columns per person.

Increasing either of these increases the chances of your browser not being able to complete the upload. If you do run into this problem, try reducing the number of rows with "0" values. If that isn't enough, try removing all "0" value rows, then the lowest value rows and so on until the file uploads successfully.

Advertising to young people

Note: Targeting options are limited for audiences that include people under the age of 18 in most countries, under 20 in Thailand and under 21 in Indonesia. Learn more about targeting options to reach teens and how this update may affect your ad sets.
