Implement Conversions API using personalised instructions in Meta Events Manager

Events shared using the Conversions API require specific data parameters. These parameters contribute to improving the quality of events used for ad delivery and may improve campaign performance. Visit Meta for Developers to learn which parameters are required.

If you or your developer want to manually implement the Conversions API using code, you can use this guided experience in Meta Events Manager.

Note: If you're unable to manually implement the Conversions API, learn about other setup options.

Guided setup has two parts:

  1. Create personalised setup instructions (usually completed by advertisers)
Select the events and parameters that you want to set up. If events and parameters are selected by default, you can keep or edit them. You can also edit your default selections. Your selections will appear in your personalised setup instructions, and then you can send the instructions to your developer or yourself.
  2. Implement the Conversions API (usually completed by developers)
You or your developer can set up the Conversions API using the personalised instructions that you just created. These instructions appear in Events Manager and include the previously selected events and parameters. The instructions also link to developer documentation and other resources that help guide your developer through implementation.
