About location for Facebook Pages

Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience. You'll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.

You can geo-tag posts, check in to locations and add a location to your Page. Facebook may use this location-related information, or information about your internet connection, to provide more relevant and personalized experiences. For example, you might get recommendations for groups, events, news, and ways to protect your account.

Your geo-tags on posts and check-ins to local businesses will be visible to other people with Facebook access and within the Shared activity section of your Page.
