Increase or decrease your payment threshold

You can increase or decrease your payment threshold from the Billing section in Meta Ads Manager. Changing your payment threshold will affect when you are charged for ads.

To increase or decrease your payment threshold:

  1. Go to the Billing section.
  2. Click Payment settings.
  3. Click the pencil icon in the Current balance section.
  4. Enter the amount for the new payment threshold.
  5. Click Save.

If you decrease your payment threshold, that change should take effect immediately. If you increase your payment threshold, it may take time for those changes to appear and there are a few reasons why. The first is that your payment threshold works by charging your ad account each time you hit your existing threshold. When you reach your threshold and our system is able to successfully charge your account and receive the payment, your threshold can then potentially be increased. However, it may take a few successful payments at your current threshold before that happens. The second reason is that it's possible your request for an increase may need to be reviewed and go through an approval process. During that process, your request may or may not be approved. If it's not approved, you can try to increase your payment threshold again at a later date or file an appeal. You can check the status of your increase by going to facebook.com/support.

Note: Payment thresholds for automatic payments in India may differ due to eMandate regulations enacted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
