Troubleshoot a declined payment from your bank account
If you can't pay for your ad due to a declined payment from your bank account, you may need to update your payment information. When an online banking payment is declined, we stop the campaigns on your account until you've paid the amount you owe.
If the payment method you're using to run ads on Facebook fails, you can try one of these options:
- Pay a remaining balance: To pay your balance, you can add a new payment method and then use it to pay your current balance manually.
- Contact your bank: If the online banking information you've entered at registration is correct, contact your bank to find out why your payment has been declined.
Note: You can't add a different bank account at this time.
