View your Facebook ad charges and payment history

Need help with a charge or don't recognise activity on your account? Take these steps.

You can find the billing information for your ad account in the Billing section of Meta Ads Manager. You can view your payment history and details about specific charges.

Note: Due to the eMandate regulation enacted by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), your Facebook billing experience may be changed. Starting on 30 September 2021, if you have ad accounts with Facebook India as the legal entity and use a recurring credit/debit card as your payment method, you may see changes to the frequency and amount (with the total amount remaining the same) by which you'll be billed. These changes will be reflected in your payment activity.

Note: The total number of clicks or impressions that your ad receives is shown in your Ads Manager. The actual number of clicks or impressions that you're charged is shown in the receipt. The number of clicks or impressions in the receipt may be different from the number in your Ads Manager.

Additional information

Authorisation charges: Why you may receive a small charge on your credit or debit card

You may receive a small charge as a temporary authorisation to validate your credit or debit card. We make these authorisation charges and then immediately invalidate them. The authorisation charges are removed from your credit or debit card automatically (typically within 3-5 working days). If the charge remains on your statement for longer than that, contact your bank to ask why the charge hasn't been removed.

Information for advertisers in Brazil: About notas fiscais, faturas and registros de cobrança

Starting March 2018, Facebook provides notas fiscais to advertisers in Brazil on a monthly basis. Faturas is no longer issued after then. Learn more.

If your business is based in Brazil, faturas are generated whenever your ads are delivered. They include how much you've spent your ads and what percentage of the total ad delivery cost has been collected for taxes. Registros de cobrança are generated each time we attempt to charge you for your ad delivery.

Faturas are available in the Billing section of Ads Manager when:

  • Your ads have been delivered. It may be different from the date you placed your order for ads.

Registros are available in the Billing section of Ads Manager when:

  • We successfully charge your payment method for ads that have been delivered.
  • We attempt to charge your payment method for ads but can't complete the payment. A new registro de cobrança will be issued if your payment method fails.

Note: If we can't successfully charge your payment method, the amount shown on your most recent registro de cobrança may be different from the amount on your fatura.
