Enable auto-tracking

When you create an offline event set, you have the option to enable auto-tracking when you assign the set to one or more ad accounts. When you enable auto-tracking, any future campaigns in those ad accounts will automatically be associated with the offline event set as well.

To enable auto-tracking for new offline event sets:

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager and navigate to the green plus sign and select Connect data sources to create a new data source.
  2. Select Offline and then Connect.
  3. Name your offline event set and select Create.
  4. Toggle on the Auto-tracking button for specific ad accounts.
  5. Select Next.

To enable auto-tracking for current offline event sets:

  1. Select Settings on your current offline event set in Events Manager.
  2. Scroll down to the Sharing section and select Share with an ad account. This takes you to your business settings.
  3. Click Assign ad accounts.
  4. Toggle on the Auto-tracking button for specific ad accounts.
  5. Select Save changes.

You've enabled auto-tracking.

Once you've enabled auto-tracking, any new ads in the account will immediately be included in your offline event and attribution reporting.
