Manage permissions for offline event sets

To upload offline event data to an offline event set, people must either have admin access to the business that created the event set, or manage or upload permission for the event set itself.

You can manage offline event set roles and permissions in Meta Business Manager.

To assign full control of a business portfolio:

  1. Go to Business settings.
  2. Under Users, click People.
  3. Select the name of the person whose access you want to change.
  4. Click the 3 horizontal dots icon, then select Edit business portfolio permissions.
  5. Make your changes. To finish, click Save.

To share an offline event set with another business or agency:

  1. Go to Business settings.
  2. Select Data sources.
  3. Select Offline event sets.
  4. Choose the offline event set that you want to grant people access to.
  5. Assign access to people in your business:
    1. Click Add people.
    2. Select the names of the people to assign access to.
    3. Toggle on Upload offline conversions or Manage offline event set.
    4. Click Assign.
  6. Assign access to another business or agency:
    1. Click Assign partners.
    2. Enter the relevant partner business ID.
    3. Toggle on Upload offline conversions or Manage offline event set, then click Next.
    4. Click to select the boxes that describe how you'll work with Meta Events Manager and click Next.
    5. Read the terms and click I accept.

You've managed permissions for your offline event set. People who have admin access can now upload offline event data.

Note: Only people with System user access to a business portfolio can use the Offline conversions API.
