Create a Facebook Page engagement Custom Audience

This article contains instructions on how to set up an engagement custom audience from Facebook Page engagement.

Note: Targeting options are limited for audiences that include people under the age of 18 in most countries, under 20 in Thailand and under 21 in Indonesia. Learn more about targeting options to reach teens and how this update may affect your ad sets.

To create an Page engagement custom audience:

1. Go to your Audiences.
2. Click the Create audience drop-down and choose Custom audience.

   Note: If you've never created an audience of any kind before, you'll see a Create a custom audience button, not a drop-down. Everything else will be the same.

3. Click Facebook Page and click Next.
4. Choose to include people who meet any or all of the following criteria and select your Page.
5. Go to Events and select your audience from the drop-down, including people who engaged with your Page.
6. To add another audience, click Include more people or Exclude people to exclude certain audiences, such as people who have only visited your Page. Note: You can have up to five total Page sections per audience.
7. Under Retention, choose the number of days that people will remain in your audience.
8. Give your audience a name and description and then select Create audience.

You have finished creating an engagement custom audience for your Facebook Page. You can now use your custom audience during ad set creation.
