How to edit your business details and maintain your verified business status

Meta Verified for businesses is a paid subscription service. Learn more and sign your business up for Meta Verified.

You can edit your business details at any time if your information is no longer up to date. In some cases, you may be required to update your information to maintain your verification status, for example, if your business website has changed.
Edit your business details in Business Manager
Follow these steps to edit your business details:
- Go to the Security Centre in Business Manager.
- Click View details.
- Click Edit.
- Make your desired changes and proceed to the business verification process. Learn how to verify your business.
Once verified, your updated business details will be visible in the Security Centre.
If you previously verified your business, you'll be required to complete the business verification process each time you update your details. Your current business verification status won't be affected during the editing process. However, you may be asked to provide documents that confirm the updated business details, such as the business's legal name, physical address or phone number. You'll also be required to prove your association to the business by receiving a verification code to your email address or phone number, or by using domain verification.
Note: You can't edit verified business details of a business portfolio used for a WhatsApp Business account.
Maintain your verified business status
To maintain a verified business status, you must:
- Maintain integrity standards. Meta may revoke your business's verification status if we detect a violation of our integrity standards, including:
- Non-adherence to Meta's advertising standards
- False or misleading information provided during your business verification process or any attempt to claim or verify a business that you don't own or have authorisation to represent, or circumvention of our verification review systems.
- Keep your website details current. An active HTTPs-compliant website is required to verify your business and to maintain your verified business status. If your website details change, you need to reflect them accurately in Business Manager. If Meta detects that your website details are outdated, you may be asked to update your website by a certain date or lose your business verification status. Your website may be deemed inactive for one of the following reasons:
- Temporary site maintenance: If your website was down temporarily and is running properly by the indicated deadline, no action will be taken.
- A change to your website address: If you have a change in the URL associated with your website, make sure that you update the website link in Business Manager to avoid a revocation of your verified business status. You may be asked to provide documents that confirm the updated business details such as the business's legal name, physical address or phone number. You must complete the business verification process each time you update your details for a change in your website address.
- Website deprecation: If the site you used to verify your website no longer functions and you do not own an alternative website, you will lose your business verification status.
