Three Ways To Boost Engagement in Your Facebook Group

One of the best things about groups is the amount of people that are willing to jump into the discussion, post content and connect with others – and engagement is key! It deepens the sense of connection in your group.

So how do you keep engagement high? Here are three effective ways to keep your group engaged in 2023.

Tip 1: Post a Meme in Your Group

Posting memes adds creativity and interest to your group.

To post a meme in a Facebook group:
  1. To upload an existing meme, photo, or video to your group, make sure the photo or video is saved to your computer.
  2. Tap Write something… at the top of the group.
  3. Tap Photo/Video.
  4. Select your meme, then tap Next.
  5. Write an optional caption and then tap Post.

Did you know that video overall makes up 50% of the time that people spend on Facebook? Sharing a video is a great way to share in a format that people enjoy engaging with.

To post a video in your Facebook group:
  1. Tap Write something... at the top of your group.
  2. Tap Photo/Video.
  3. Choose a video or record a new one, then tap Done.
  4. Write an optional caption and then tap Post.
